I just watched the last two parts of this series. It was really great so I did more research online and a few different sources said that Charles had a better relationship with his father than the series expressed. Also, some of these sources mentioned that Thomas was actually described (by his nephew) as a bully with poor manors--which is the exact opposite in the film. Many of the sites also said that Thomas was actually and alcoholic as well. Does anybody think they know which sides are more accurate? Or maybe more sides to the stories? I know that we can never know history to exact detail, but I would really like to know more about this. Thanks!
