Where can you fish at night in the Cocoa Beach area?

I don't want to go too far north or south, so right in the Cocoa Beach or Merritt Island area is good. The thing is, Brevard parks all close at dark. So the only place I know to go are shore fishing off the beach, or right along the inter-coastal off the Banana River and Indian River. Looking for something calm.
