Where can I take my children bike riding in Pittsburgh?

I live in the South Hills. I would like to take my kids to a nice flat trail without a whole lot of people on it. I have seen the names of some trails on the internet, but can't figure out where I would park to get on any of the trails. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are close to south park, but south park always seems way too busy and that main road is the only place I can think that the kids could ride. Any suggestions and directions to parking would be awesome!!!

I'm sorry I don't know, but I wonder if you put this question in the Travel section with the city that your interested in or the closest city you might get more responses.
