Where can I take astronomy as my major in a better university in West-US?

Chris, I ask you respectfully and not as an insult. I don't expect an answer, you are the only one that needs to know. What area are you exactly going to apply your major study. Don't get me wrong, I admire your effort... But you are going to pour a GANG of cash into this endeavor, will you be a lecture professor or end up a fine technician setting up scopes - there is nothing wrong with elbow grease. I ask, because there are instances of fascination and draw of big discover and money, but it comes slow and at a price...

Or just help me to compare these university for Astronomy Major...
