Where can I sell my antique jewelery?

I am in Washington,dc. I got a box full of antigue jewelery from this older lady.It has some beautiful pieces inside the box. I know there are worth something cause I showed them to some people and they all said it is a market for antigue jewelery. Where do I go to sell it? Who buys it?
