Where can I register my business name?

I am starting a fast food restaurant and I need to register the business name, can someone please tell me where should I register the business name and also how much will it cost me.

There is no register of business names in the UK. If you wish to trade as a limited cmpany, you do this thrugh Companies House and I believe the fee is £15 or £20, but this may be more involved than you need to go.
