Where can I go camping/bush craft around Payson, Sedona, and Flagstaff?

Soo you want more roughing it eh. well again around the Christopher creek area lots of wild-lands and game for survivalists like yourself still plenty of healthy forest for shelter building and as long as your away from the creek where jr ranger won't see your camp you will be ok. Get a hunting and fishing license to take small game and fish to be in compliance with the law. Have a friend drop you off so you don't leave a car for jr ranger to see, if they know your up there they will look for you. any where in there is ok for a small fire with a permit ,a big blazing one will draw jr ranger attention. Do your homework before you set out and by that I mean be prepared. What you think you need to survive is far different then what you really need to survive. And lastly leave all your in case of death info with somebody so they can collect on some life insurance from you.
 
I would like to go straight up wilderness survival with my brother . I would like to go in an area with forest's and preferably Water (lake, river, creak). I am going with the clothes on my back, a survival kit, a knife, and for safety a pistol and i will be going in the dead of winter also i need a place which allows fires. So are their any good areas in witch this can be done. Please give exact locations. Thank You
