I have a glass dining room table which is extendable, there is a sort of silicone tape/film along the edge of the glass extension to act as a cushion between the glass extension arm and the main glass table, I presume to act as a kind of buffer between the two panels of glass, but this needs replacing does anyone know exactly what this would be called or where I could buy some. I can't seem to find exactly what I am looking for but any advice or tips would be welcome.
Thanks Anthony for your response, I don't want to permanently join the two panels though its just when the table is extended I suppose it has this protection so the glass isn't resting against glass if you see what I mean its acting as a kind of cushion so the extended leaf is just resting against the main glass frame if that helps? I need to replace this just because it is visble when the table is closed and it doesn't look very nice now as its falling away from the glass..
