where can i get mixtapes from?

I work at a record store, and a lot of the people there are all "independant music snobs" who dont listen to any kind of rap. People always ask me about mixtapes. Well i wanted to know where to order them for the store to carry. Where is the best place to get mixtapes from?

People always ask if we have The Game - You Know What It Is Vol. 4. I cannot find it at all.
 
I used to work at a vinyl record shop, about six years ago, and the mixtapes were usually promotional material we either received directly from the artist, the label or the distributor we got the vinyl from. Best bet might be to check with any distros your shop deals with.

Nowadays, as far as electronic music goes, there are a lot of blogs posting links or offering direct downloaRAB of mixtapes, but that isn't rap/hip-hop usually, but that might be the direction some artists have gone in. Check out:
