I'm learning web page design, and although I know how to make headers and banners and buttons etc I get stuck knowing what to do and what colours to use and match for gradients etc.
I find it really helpful to use step by step tutorials but there are not many which guide you to amazing designs, only basic ones. There are also web sites which sow you great design ideas but no direction on how to do it.
I have html knowledge and some css and prefer to use fireworks, I wouldn't mind trying flash illistrator etc
So where can I go to build up experience to design amazing proffessional, banners, headings, prommotion boxes, buttons, logo's etc?
