with pics and/or diagrams? I have a 2000 jeep Cherokee that's over heating. I replaced the thermostat and the engine needs to pretty much over-heat before it opens and then it only goes down to 200 degrees F. I took the thermostat out and let it run without it and it still gets to 200f. Either way I don't get any heat when I turn it on, all I get is cold air blowing. I don't see leaking anywhere around the pump, but I do get a bit of belt squeaking, more with the heater fan on. Any ideas on what's happening or where I could get a diagram to try to troubleshoot?

Overheating together with no heat points to a bad water pump, your coolant is not circulating. Get it looked after before you seize your engine.
