I want an enclosed sample, like a glass vial. Failing that, an sealed container of Mercury.
If you don't know/can't find where to get those, perhaps you could say where I might build up a reasonable sample e.g. lots of old thermometers.
The site/source must be in the UK. I cannot air-freight mercury to the UK, due to the planes having a shell of Aluminium. Mercury will eat away at Alumnium, leaving a big hole in the side of the plane. For this reason, it is forbidden to take Mercury on board an aircraft. (Take a look at the stuff you aren't allowed on board next time you check in).
NOTE: I know the risks of playing with mercury, and have no intention of touching it with my bare skin, nor inhaling the fumes. Even so, I guess I will get the usual amount of morons saying "OH NOES!!! THATS BAD 4 YOO!!!XD". Give it a break.
