...they have open is certified? Where can I get a certified technicians ? I went to Chrysler to apply in they told they have open is certified technicians. What do certified technicians means what kind of jobs is that?
 
It means that they are certified in that make of car to do service. So if you want to work at chrysler you need to take the chrysler tests to become a certified chrysler technician. I work at a Nissan dealership and they have test ever couple of months for the technicians to take to become certified. Not sure where you would go to take the tests call the dealership and talk to the service manager about it.
 
its just a state issued license stating your qualified to work on autos, here in Mich you would go to the Secretary of state to take the test.
