Where can i find the odometer cable in a 1997 Buick Lesabre?

I know how to roll back the odometer, but I don't know where to find the cable... Don't worry, I'm not trying to sell my car for more than its worth, my problem is that my mom is a bitch and she says I can only drive my car to and from work, or else she is going to take it, and she is going to check the mileage to make sure. I want to be able to drive where I want and then roll back the odometer to where it was so she doesn't notice.
 
If you remove the odometer cable from the back of the dashboard instrument panel, the odometer will not work. You can also remove it from the transmission at the place where it connects. That would probably be easier to do, and harder for mom to detect.

Either of these actions, though, can be considered fraud if you try to sell the car and validate the mileage. Considering the age of the car, and the chances it's already well over 100,000 miles, you can simply state on the title that the odometer reading is not reliable.
