Where can I find the engine number on an 02 Honda CBR 954RR?

Hey I just bought an 02 honda CBR 954RR and to transfer the title I need to have the engine number. Is there an easier way to get it the number than taking off the farings and looking on the engine? And if that is the only way, which side and pieces must I remove? Any help would be great! Thanks!

Go to - CBR900RR (02) - Crankcase
Part #7 is pointing to a flat raised surface on the right side of the upper crankcase.
You shouldn't have to remove anything to view the numbers.
