...first writing class today? HI, I am running a writing class for the first time today at a recovery centre for the mentally ill, I am also a member of the center. I want to find some examples of poetry written by people with mental illness to show my class some different types of poetry using a theme familiar to all of us? Where can I find poetry by the mentally ill and different sorts of poetry that show different ways of writing poetry, the different rhyming formulas etc? I want to have each person in my class compose a poem today but many of them have not written before and I have not taught before so how do I go about acheiving this? I am very nervous please please help
