I rent my house off an estate agent and they have lied to me from day one. Bascially to cut a long story short, I signed a 6 months tenancy agreement, I did not want to but they said that they do not do 12 month contracts and they said that after the 6 months I could just renew the tenancy. They also reassured me that the house was a long term let, anyway 2 months ago I got a letter asking to leave.
I no the house was up for sale in the past, but what I want to know is was it up for sale while I've been renting it, so where can i find this out? I've tried, rightmove.com and sites like that but they just come up with houses for sale now.
