Hello, i hope you can help me please. I have tried to find out the answer for this myself but am not getting anywhere fast.
I left full time teaching 3 and a half yrs ago. (primary teaching in the uk, taught year 4 and it was my NQT year, i gained fully qualified status)
I have done a small amount of supply since. I now want to return either full time or to do a lot of supply work. I feel that i could go into a class room today and still know what to do, but i also want to be up to date on current practise. now i only did my teacher training pgce in 2004 so I doubt i am totally out of date with things, but i want to know what has changed in that time. Any new schemes of work? any new assessment? What do i need to know? i don't want to go to an interview and not have a clue. I am willing to do some retraining in order to brush up on my skills. Any websites that can give me concise, focused answers to my questions would be a good help,... anything!
Thank you
