I am trying to get my mother to get up to date on local as well as national US news because its better to know about stuff when you live in that country. She has trouble reading English and it takes her forever to get past a CNN article or a simple local newspaper article, not to mention complete lack of understanding of what she just read. So I've given up the English side and am hoping to find a good online source for current US news written in Chinese or any online video broadcasts (not radio ones, she'll fall asleep). Also, would like to know if there are any newspaper sites available online like Asahi for Japanese speakers that have both an English and directly translated Chinese article following for learning. Thanks.
