There are several reasons why you are wrong.1. The phone is locked so it can't use any network other than the one authorized by your country. (I'm guessing that you are in the US because you mention Sprint.)2. The Iphone is only for GSM networks. Sprint uses CDMA.I hope this helps.Gary
