Where can I find great Italian food?

Hi, I wanted to know what are some of the best Italian restaurant in the Northern VA area. I simply CANNOT find a a good place to get gnocchi. Most restaurant only offer the same dishes (ex. lasagna, fettuccini alfredo, etc) I'd like a little variety when it comes to pasta :) Thanks!
