I want to major in Deaf Education and minor in Interpreting. However, I sadly hardly know any ASL and I dont know much about Deaf culture. I'd LOVE to find a church for the Deaf, or a camp, or something that I can go to to learn as much as I physically can to learn about the Deaf. I really wish I knew more ASL and everything, and I think a great way to learn would be by associating with the Deaf. I don't know anyone that is deaf right now, and I only know how to finger spell, a few random words, and numbers. So do you know of a Deaf camp I can go to even though I don't know ASL? Or somewhere I can go to meet deaf people?!
