I'm talking about where the southern states, with their plantations, finally say, 'That's it, if you put any more tariffs up, we're vetoing them.'
Then they argue about how the national gov is made up of the states, so the states should get final say.
However, the North says, 'No, the national gov is made up of the people in those states, no the states themselves, so the national gov gets the final say.'
I know that part, but I have no names, dates, how many tariffs were passed before, etc. So I was wondering if anyone out there was a human encyclopedia, or had a really good source.
If you just give me a list of links, I will probably die from blood loss due to extra bashing of my head into the keyboard that is seated right in front of me.
