Where can I find a good site with mods for the first Galactic Civilizations.

The original site is gone.? I have Galactic Civilizations for PC, its very annoying trying to find a website or even a forum dedicated to this game any more since Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords seems to be taking up most if not all of my search results, and even in Wikipedia.

Is there any help? I know there are mods for this game, they were on the Stardock Central website, but is not longer being maintained, and closed.
