The fuse for the radio blew out in my friends car and we are having a hard time finding anything on the internet that is helpful.
Please help!
Thanks!

Here's a link to Autozone's wiring schematics. I couldn't find a simple one for the fuses, but if they're like MOST vehicles, they say right on the fuse panel or the door it was behind, which fuse goes to what, and what amperage it should be.

Your 1996 Jeep Cherokee has a label stamped on both fuse panel covers to identify each fuse. The radio fuse is a 15 amp fuse and it will be IN THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT NEAR THE BATTERY. The label stamped on the fuse panel cover will list it as "Radio" and identify the number of it's position in the panel.

If you have the factory amplifier there will also be a 25 amp fuse and it will be IN THE FUSE PANEL ON THE LOWER DASH JUST TO THE LEFT OF THE STEERING COLUMN. The label stamped on the fuse panel cover will list it as "Radio/Amplifier" and identify the number of it's position in the panel.
