Where can I find a cheap apple macbook?

I would like to get an apple mac for my birthday but my dad is saying it is way to expensive, which I can understand. I have figured out that it would be best not to get second hand and definatly not refurbished. Can anyone give me an idea on where I can get a cheap apple macbook?
 
Mac is most cheap in the USA. One possible thing you can do is to avail of the student discount, which can turn out $50 off from the original price.
 
What you'll find is (this is all over the world) that all retailers have practically the same price (maybe give or take $50).... but the only cheaper way you can be it is used, either off the internet, out of newspapers, etc...
