where can i find a backpack that looks like the hiking one?

ok, i was at the airport and i saw a lot of teenagers with the peculiar backpack, is kind of big,and long, it looks like the one to hike. If you know the name or where can i get them, please let me know, because im planing to go out of the country and suitcase will bee too much work...thanks
