27" x 1" bicycle tyres (25 - 630) used to be commonplace and readily available in all bicycle shops years ago in the UK and I imagine the US. Nowadays they're impossible to locate here in the UK. I want to get my old pushbike out again but the original tyres are perished, hence the need for a new pair. 27" x 1 1/4 tyres are readily available but are too big for a one inch rim. Can anyone help please?
