Ok, bit of an odd one. Someone gave my 18-month-old daughter a set of genuine Russian dolls as a present, and she absolutely loves them (she puts the little one inside and says "Baby bubbyes now"). But they are hand painted, and the paint isn't really up to constant play by a toddler. Obviously it's not good for a child to play with flaky paint so I've put them away till she's older, but she misses them. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a plastic alternative - essentially the same idea of five dolls stacked inside each other, but not genuine hand painted ones? She's got a set of stacking cups, but it's really the doll idea I am looking for. Have tried searching the web, but got nowhere - wonder if anyone else has come across anything similar?
