Where can I buy merchandise made by prison inmates?

I've heard that some state and local prisons have programs that allow inmates to make arts, crafts and housewares that are sold at stores or on websites. The proceeds are put into a trust fund or used for prison education programs.
 
Check the website for Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice, most state units have a store in them for Inmate crafts.
 
There was a store just outside the front gates of the prison near us. They sold tooled leather items, like wallets and belts. And gorgeous ceramic lamp bases. A few other things.I am not sure if these stores still exist.
