where can I buy good electronics in chicago?

I will travel to chicago in july, and I wanna upgrade the harddisk of my laptop (hp dv6000) with a 300 GB + and 7200 rpm unit with better characteristics, reliability, response time, noise level, size and speed in general.

Also I want to buy the new iphone or another good smartphone from HTC or HP

any recommendations about trustable places where to go to buy cheap and good electronics in general?
