I'm currently in the process of starting a Baltic Living History group using my knowledge of the era as well as using the strict reconstructionism philosophy that Civil War Reenacting has.
For starters, I've been teaching myself various crafts such as Blacksmithing and leatherworking.
However, the Pagan Lithuanian Warriors often had a type of armor that they wore that was basically a semi-heavy coat made out of knit flax.
I was hoping to make a copy but I do not know where I can buy some good (preferably thicker) Flax yarn , natural color or sun-bleached, that I could use to make this armor.
