Where can I buy a Harley Davidson fuel filter?

Dealership wants $90 for a stinking fuel filter for my 2000 road king. This is a high pressure, fuel injection filter that resides inside the gas tank. This feels like a cheesy filter that HD just nails you on.
Where can I find one more reasonable?

Andy is correct.....HD's FI fuel filters are proprietary to HD only. I will also add this....if your original filter has disintegrated or comes out in pieces...you should plan on replacing the fuel pump as well, the particles from the filter will destroy the pump and clog the injectors. Do it right the first time, and you won't have to do it a second time.

Good luck.We just did a Road King and we tried to find another source for the filter. No luck at all.I believe the filter is made by Mitsubishi and we have the part number off the old filter but we haven't tried finding it again yet.We paid $47.00 from HD here so 90 seems pretty steep.Just to give you a heads up...be careful fishing(and replacing) the sending unit out from inside the tank and don't drop the crimp on clamp from the convoluted fuel line when you cut it off to remove it.And replace the rubber seal that goes between the tank and the mounting plate.
