where can i buy a cheap bike?

Where can i buy a fairly cheap bike ie around £50? (hopefully as cheap as poss.)

Just need it to mess about with say riding about.

Look on ebay or craig's list, police auctions, charity and thrift stores, yard sales. local paper.

If you are looking for a cheap bike, check your local bike shop and bikes around your local colleges. A lot of times they rent out mountain and road bikes for few weeks and sell them for a very low price.
