I've been working in customer service/retail for the passed 5 years. I've been trying to get out of it for a little over a year now. I've mostly looked into office administration positions, but I can't seem to understand why I never get a response to the countless Email's/applications I've filled out. I'm intelligent and an experienced people person. I have a clear resume and spent the summer interning as an office assistant at a production company. Have I been looking through the wrong classifieds? (craigslist, backpages, monster, etc.) Or could it simply be that i'm a boy? Either way I'm simply looking for a point in the right direction as to where to look. If anyone can provide some positive feedback, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Where can a young guy (21) find an ok paying part time job (10-13/hr) in Manhattan?
