Now that the Mid-West is going through a "Katrina" style event, where are the celebrities? Where is all help for these people who are loosing everything they own? I guess I don't understand what makes one tragedy worse (and thus more deserving) than the other. Levees broke in New Orleans, they are breaking in the Mid-West. People lost everything they own in New Orleans. People are loosing everything they own in the Mid-West.
I know there has to be something political behind the lack of aid, I just can't figure out why one class of people get the help and another doesn't. As Americans aren't we supposed to help each other, no matter who we are and where we live? I must just be really naive.
