I jsut recently went to joshua tree since its pretty local and its famous for climbing. but when i got there i was really disappointed since i went there to boulder and i guess alot of the climbing there is cracks and huge cliff faces so if you dont have a rope youre either screwed or super crazy. i went climbing at corona del mar state beach and there was really awesome sandstone climbing there i just liked the kind of holds sandstone has. Are there any really good sandstone spots for bouldering? Also, ive been curious about limestone but i have NO idea where limestone is. im not too big a fan of granite but thats mainly because of my experience in J Tree, but if you know of some really good granite bouldering let me know!
