I have a few friends coming up to visit me in Tempe next weekend and then the following week. They are really big on nature and going out on hikes and picnics outdoors. I don't know the area that well since i just moved out here but where can i go that is nearby. I am talking no more then 30mins or so. I thought about going to sedona and grand cayon but thats just to far....Any suggestions?

I saw superstition springs is only 20mins from me outside of Mesa.....is that a good area to go?

Thanks!

I live in mesa and i love to do all of those things. If you want a good hiking place go to Usery Pass. It is a fun not to tough hike. Once you get to the top there is a big wind cave you can sit in and see alot of the city. After the hike you go back down and there are picnic tables, barbeques and ramadas to eat under. :)
