Currently, I am torn between getting a 2012 Honda Civic or a 2011 Honda Insight. I've always been a fan of the Civic for quite some time but I like that the Insight is an inexpensive hybrid car. My budget is under $20K so the Civic Hybrid is out of the question.
I have looked at the reviews for the Insight and they're mostly positive however I rarely see any out on the road. Is there a reason for this? The hybrids I mostly see are Priuses. I expected to see a couple Insights here and there since it's much cheaper than a Prius and still has great mileage. Is there something I'm missing here about the Insight?
Overall, which do you think is better? Should I get the Insight or stick with the Civic? If there is anyone who has/driven an Insight, any information about your experiences with it would be greatly helpful.
Thanks!
