...either a single person being? addicted to it or one person in a relationship/marriage (usually the male) being addicted to it to the point that it is affecting the relationship.
Is pornography also considered a problem if a husband and wife enjoy it together? Is it still deemed sinful if no one is addicted to it and no one is preferring to watch porn alone instead of having a healthy sexual relationship with their spouse?
I'm legitimately curious about this because I honestly do not know a single person who has had a relationship ruined by porn but I know a lot of happily married couples who include porn in their bedroom activities.
@Adam - because it is arousing and interesting. I am not addicted to cake but I enjoy eating a slice of it now and then.
I also do not find it degrading to women. This is a very popular claim to make but I do not feel degraded when I watch it - I do not see why a woman should feel degraded while a man does not. I feel it is those making this claim who are doing the degrading.
@dead fundie - surely you are not implying that porn's affect on Ted Bundy was an expectable and reasonable outcome? I've read a good amount about Ted Bundy and he is a fascinating guy, what went on in his mind was not what goes on in a normal, healthy mind - I would not find it reasonable to compare his experiences with anyone else's. But that's a very interesting video.
