way to clean, shave, cook.? I wouldn't have any issues with if this is something he did regularly but he only does before she comes over. I have to deal with cleaning the house and cooking. He will go a couple of weeks without shaving when it's just us. I can't understand this. Any advise.
 
Mention it to him and ask him to make an effort to look good and take care of things for you too.

(reward him - you know what he wants.)
 
His daughter coming over is a motivator that works. If you want him to do these things at other times, you will need to find another motivator that proves to be just as effective.
 
He wants to be a good role model and someone his daughter can look up to. He is the example of what a man is to her, and he wants it to be perfect. he knows how she sees him and how their relationship goes determines her relationship with men for the rest of her life.
