My car is being worked on after an attempt to steal it. The dealership who is working on it has had the car for over a month and a half. Our rental insurance ran out after a month. They claimed the insurance was at fault but the insurance has proved it was the dealerships delays. We now owe almost $500 for the rental car. Do the repair shops give an estimate to the insurance company on when they will finish and if they do do they have to finish by that time? Can they be liable for our loses on the rental?
