When you send a first draft of a book out to get feedback what format is the

best to do it in? I was thinking of sending it in PDF and securing it as a file but then if there is a particular point someone would like to make on a particular page, then they wouldnt be able to do that.

Also I will be sending it to another country to publishers, so does it still need to be in paper format, because that would end up costly?
