Someone I know was talking to a third person. I came up and said hi. He said hey whats up and didn't engage me in conversation. I said oh nothing and left. Is it rude to come up to someone and say hello when they are chatting with someone else? Was it rude of him to not include me in the conversation or start chatting? He said he was mid-sentence when I said hello. Should he continue his conversation or interrupt and either talk about something else that includes me or bring me into his chat?
