This has been a question I've been confused about for a while.
If you ever had to use your martial art experience in self defense, or anything outside your dojo for that matter (like a fast reflex), did it just come naturally (like a reflex that came fast, and did now have to be thought of), or did you have to think about what you should use? I mean in a situation where you had to fight.
This question can apply to a situation where a quick action was needed too actually.
*To make it clearer, I mean if you would need to fight, even sometimes in the dojo I guess, would your attacks be like reflex? Like would you have to think, or it will just come out in a rythm. It is hard to explain. Like if you'd have to use it spontaneously, would it come out without thinking like a reflex, or a voluntary movement.
