Do i need a solicitor to write up the deed poll for me . Or can i write a professional one up myself ?
IM asking because as far as i am aware a deed poll is a document not a contract which states that you abandon a name and take up a new one. As far as i know providing you have a real witness with you at the time that you sign then that is a legal document that can be passed to the DVLA, passport agency etc etc.
