chemicals involved.? Ok, so I'm new to this. lol. In equations like, 2HCl + MgO ----> MgCI2 + H2O, I know that the state of water in (l), and the state of HCl is (aq), but what about MgO and MgCl2? Do we just have to memorize the states or is there some way of knowing? I need to know, because when it comes to exams I don't want to lose marks for not putting in states. thanks! =)
