When will Tmo get BIS 2.1??

In San Jose, CA, and i dont have any of those icons either, wonder hey how do i find out if i have BIS 2.1 , my acct with this phone is 2 weeks old and they told me i had it. do I goto the about section ?
 
The email account icons came with the transition from BIS 1.8 to 2.0. For an more on what these icons do, see the link in my sig.

I also want instant access to my gmail account...was getting instant access before but after a few hours it just stopped and had to reregister every day or so....just been forwarding and it works great...

Besides Melissa has anyone else used gmail recently and works fine ?
 
I used my gmail today, just to see if it would work faster than yahoo has been. It seemed to go through immediately, this time.
 
TMO is definatly BIS 2.1 but they are not pushing the new Icons. I can find the KB article that lets you know whow to tell if your 2.1 or 2.0 if you would like.

Okay, the link was informative to a point. I saw no difference in 2.0 and 2.1 to the naked eye. I have seen no changes in T-Mo's service since it dumped 1.8. I hate to be a stick in the mud. But, what IS the difference between 2.0 and 2.1? And is there PROOF that T-Mo is using 2.1?
 
There are suttle visual differences. The biggest difference is the insant G-Mail. T-Mobile tech also confirmed with me that they run BIS 2.1. You'll notice that 2.1 shows your BB.net address on the main page where 2.0 does not.
