well since the pope believes that somehow, and in some warped way that gender influences what the worlds climate and i cant see how gender does, can we have some common sense please!

ok is Great Britain really that green or is it just a by-word for acting the act, but when it comes to actions its all fog.

has anyone actually noticed that all those nice jute bags and endless bag for life episodes has still not stopped people from using the really useless plastic carrier bag?

and who really does know what happens to all the bin fodder that the modern world creates where does it really all go, all those TV sets, old nappies, and food wrappers, or are we just told to be green but at the end of the day its all a load of rubbish, (please excuse the accidental pun).

i have never seen any true recycling schemes and just how much rubbish is still being dumped and why?

At our local Tip (recycling centre) they display how much we have managed to recycle each month. November was 67%. We don't need a debate or any costly committies, just sensible people. I do know that recycling paper at the present time is not cost effective, but hey we are doing our best. I do accept your point that after recycling we are not sure where it all goes.
