I'm considering buying an ipad because it seems like a fun gadget, but I would only be able to justify the cost if it were be a low price way for me to buy textbooks (I spend about $1000 a year on textbooks so even half off of that would justify the cost of the ipad in the first year). The problem is when I go onto Amazon 0 out of 3 of the textbooks I need next semester are available in ebook format. At what pace are textbooks becoming available in electronic format? Is this something that is going to change dramatically within the next few months or will it be a gradual change?
When will more textbooks become available for the ipad?
